Hi and welcome to my blog! I'm Steffie van den Akker, 27, from Maastricht in the Netherlands, where I live with Mark and our 2 little boys Julius (2) and Oscar (1). I have been photographing for many years now, as well as my own adventures and later our kids, as well as for others: a couple of weddings, pregnant ladies and most of all, newborns.
About one year ago I developed a passion for recording the everyday life. I had done some memory keeping projects before, but only when there was a special occasion, such as a vacation. I also created a book with photos and stories after my first pregnancy. It wasn't until I found out about Becky Higgins' Project Life system that I began to print my photos and pair them with stories in an album, on a weekly basis.
This year, I will be doing Project Life monthly. I am on the design team of Laurel Lane Designs, so I will be sharing my layouts with those, and I will be sharing more.
